Overview
Clermont Foot 63 Data Analysis Project :
• Developed a supplementary project in Python to support a job interview with Clermont Foot 63.
• Collected and cleaned publicly available data from the 2024/2025 season to analyze team performance trends.
• Explored key metrics including goals, decisive passers, xGoals, player minutes, positions, injuries, and staff changes.
• Proposed visualizations such as goal locations, key passes, and other performance indicators, and compared them with the previous 2023/2024 season.
• Derived insights: The 2023/2024 season was strong but a few decisive players contributed disproportionately; some were transferred while others had less playing time despite no injuries. Suggested hypotheses included increasing playing time for key players and identifying similar profiles to fill gaps.
• Emphasized that this was a personal project for learning and exploration, with no commercial value.
